Make This Fat-Burning Chocolate Avocado Pudding in a Few Minutes
I never thought that we can make a delicious dessert using one of the healthiest ingredients on the planet, avocados? Turns out, we can! This delicious and healthy chocolate avocado pudding will soon become our family’s favorite dessert.
Here are a few reasons why we should consider adding avocados in our meals and desserts more often.
Beta-sitosterol and other plant sterols in avocados provide it with antiestrogenic properties which help block the estrogen receptors in our cells, thus lowering estrogen absorption rates, explains Avocado Source.
This, in turn, helps raise the levels of progesterone in women, and those of testosterone in men.
Another fantastic thing about avocados is that its flesh and oil have potent anti-aging properties that protect us from free radical damage.
This healthy ingredient can penetrate deep inside the human’s cell structure and activate the energy production of mitochondria.
As a result, cells start functioning properly even when they are attacked by free radicals.
Mitochondria is a crucial element in the fight against free radicals. It’s the central part of the human’s cells that uses nutrients to provide the cell with energy.
However, the bad thing about mitochondria is that they produce unstable chemicals which can cause damage to other parts of the cell, including itself.
This cellular damage affects the aging process. So, a lot of researchers have been trying to find a remedy that could reverse this damage for years. And, guess where they found it? In avocado oil!
That’s right; the avocado you might have been avoiding for so long could be the most powerful natural ingredient in the fight against premature aging.
Dr. Cortez-Rojo is the lead study author that explains these incredible effects of avocado.
Namely, avocado oil speeds up the respiration in mitochondria which means the use of nutrients for the production of energy needed for proper function of cells remains effective even when they are attacked by free radicals.
This also means reduced production of the damaging free radicals.
But, this is not the only reason why avocados are super healthy. They are rich in healthy raw fat and more than 20 essential nutrients, like potassium, fiber, folate, vitamin E, folate, B-vitamins, sodium, magnesium, calcium, boron, and iron.
They improve our body’s ability to absorb lutein, alpha and beta-carotene, and other fat-soluble nutrients from other vegetables and fruits.
Moreover, they boost our immune system thanks to their antifungal and antibacterial properties. The amino acid lecithin found in avocados helps prevent liver overload, improve brain functions, and help to balance weight.
We don’t think you need another reason to try using this healthy ingredient to make this mouth-watering dessert.
